Follow-up with Thoracic Surgeon, July 27, 2010

Saw Dr Lee McCann today.  He was very kind and encouraging.  He was happy to report that no more fluid build-up in two weeks means a successful operation, and I am happy to report breathing is awesome!!!!  He was excited that reports back from biopsy show this is the opposite end of the agressive cancer side from small cell smokers.  This non-smoker variety is much slower growing  and he’s encouraged about treatment options.  So great when the doctors are excited for you!

Thanks to Julie Wilcox for taking me to radiation.  Thanks for all the visits and love from everyone!!  Two more days of radiation!!! (Oh, does it sound like I’m counting down?)

Love to all—-Melanie
