Quiet day, Kalani played Regional Tennis Tournament in Mapleton, but the matches aren’t at specific times, so I didn’t go. Kai has a soccer game tonight. I hope to make it to part of the game. Kala’s been in Salt Lake at a conference and the group is going to the temple tonight. –Sad I will miss that.
I’m grateful I don’t hurt anywhere–maybe a small headache sometimes, but I’m fighting fatigue–feel like I could sleep all day and all night!. My plan is to try getting more exercise, and hope that will perk me up soon. Ash Johstoneaux was so great to draw up an exercise/strengthening program. I’m starting small 5 lb weights, but 5 lbs “feels” like 10 lbs (I can’t believe I used to do an hour of aerobics with 5 lb weights)
Amber McLain sent me a wonderful card: Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.—unknown It’s a great reminder for me to find the “peace” within my own soul, regardless of the “noise around me-(my kids can get pretty loud and are slightly annoyed with me for always insisting on quiet Sunday music even on week days! I don’t blame them. I’d want to listen to Michael Jackson too… but just not right now.) –Love to all… Melanie
