Happy 14th Birthday Kai!

Today I taught the lesson in Young Women’s for the first time in over six months.  It was such a blessing to be there and share with the girls, and feel their spirits! Kai turned 14 and became a Teacher in the Aaronic Priesthood.  He’s grown up so much!

We watched the First Presidency Christmas message tonight.  It was wonderful to hear their testimonies of the Savior and hear the beautiful tabernacle choir sing Christmas hymns.  I’m so grateful for my returning health..Joy to the World, the Lord is King!

After the devotional and family prayer, the kids were playing around having fun, and Kala snapped some pictures.

Mark 3:35  For whosover shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and my mother.”  We are so grateful for all our wonderful family of friends, which we include in our “family.”  We love you and can only hope to serve you, as we have been so loved and cared for.   We hope you have a Merry Christmas Season!  Love to all–Melanie

    • DeLite,

Thank you so much for remembering Kai–You are far better than my unorganized self. I just noticed yesterday Carly Ann had a birthday December 1. Please tell her we wish her a happy late birthday and a wonderful year.

      We love you! Melanie

I heard this quote in testimony meeting yesterday and thought of you: “Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.” – Ambrose Redmoon. You have been a shining example of great courage, always keeping in the forefront what is most imporant. Thank you for sharing this example with all of us. i am glad to hear you are feeling better, especially during this blessed and magical time of year. joy

    • Joy,

Thanks for the wonderful quote! I love it. It is true- fear gets pushed to the back when we are exercising our faith and hope. Sure appreciate your kind thoughts and prayers.

      I love you! Melanie
